Inner Ignition helps women cultivate their inner strength through self defense training and personal reflection practices.
Using techniques and principles of Krav Maga learn and train physical skills you can access to defend yourself in an emergency. Training gives you not just skills, but experiences of your own strength and power. We believe that when you find power connecting with your body you find power in yourself.
We explore not just physical self defense skills but also how to use your voice to de-escalate and express boundaries, situational awareness of your environment, and red flags in relationships that could become anything from problematic to dangerous.
Inner power is not about physical strength, but confidence and strength of heart. Learning how to stand up for yourself with your voice and body, how to access your inner fire to defend yourself if need be, lets you experience how capable you truly are. Workshops help give you a new experience of power and potential providing an inner resource to connect with as you navigate not just threats, but daily life.
Women of all lifestyles and backgrounds are welcome at Inner Ignition. We are trauma-informed and heart centered. We know that safety is fundamental in all its forms, physical and emotional. Healthy, sustainable growth and change happens in that space where our sense of safety and sense of discomfort overlap. Overcoming challenge and discomfort, physical and emotional, builds a healthy resilience that allows us to better manage daily stress. Our physical training will push you out of your comfort zone but never past what is acceptable for your body or emotional being. Many women carry fears and past traumas. We recognize this and have the experience, knowledge and heart to help guide you through training safely. While we are not a substitute for professional therapy, we are an excellent resource to accompany you on your healing journey.
